Aileron Pro Wheelset
Features a disc specific elliptical profile designed with aerodynamics and weight as key factors. Specifically tuned to be aerodynamically paired with 25-28c road tires, though a 20mm inner width compliments even the most voluminous gravel and ‘cross tires.
Tubeless ready using 24mm Velotape.
Tight tolerances require the use of a low profile rim tape like Velotape to avoid tire installation issues. Veloplugs are not recommended on Aileron wheels.
Front hub:
9mm quick release and 12mm or 15mm thru-axle compatibility. All conversion pieces are included with the wheelset. 15X110 Boost hub also avilable.
Rear hub:
Converts from 135mm quick release to 142x12mm thru-axle compatibility, and will accept Shimano/SRAM 11, Campagnolo, or SRAM XD cassettes. Both axles and one cassette body configuration is included with the wheelset; additional conversion parts are available separately. Shimano/SRAM 11 cassette body includes a spacer for use with 8/9/10 speed systems. Also available with 12X148 Boost.
Sapim CX-Ray Spokes and alloy spoke nipples are used throughout for unrivaled performance.
Internal cam quick release skewers are included with front wheels and 135mm rear wheels.
All Velocity wheels come with our best rim strip solution, Velotape for rims with a tubeless webbing and Veloplugs for rims with traditional/non-tubeless webbing.
