The Fusion rim is one of our favorite rims because it offers a stiff ride, and is super strong, but not so stiff that it makes for an uncomfortable ride which makes it a strong long haul touring rim. It's not so heavy that it's over built either. This is why we decided to roll the Fusion in so many different sizes, and drilling options. Our Fusion wheelset is ideal for recumbent riders who need a lightweight, super durable set of wheels. Built with Velocity sealed bearing road or ATB hubs, these wheels are ideal for road riding and loaded touring. We can also build them with Aerohead rims for an extra light set of race ready wheels. If you run a wider tire and need superior strength, then the Aeroheat is an excellent choice.
